I can't say enough good things about Gringo Furniture and the owners. I bought a new condo last year in Puerto Aventuras Mexico and had a blank slate to work with. Unfortunately, I had to do most of my furniture ordering online from Kentucky. I visited numerous websites, but they were not user friendly and required the purchase of furniture packages. Gringo's website allowed me to mix and match, according to my taste. The entire process was conducted online or in personal emails and calls with the owners. In this age of computer generated sales and service, it was so nice to talk not only to helpful people, but the owners of the company. By the time I arrived for the closing on my condo (just before Christmas). The bedroom furniture had been delivered and set up through coordination with my property manager. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the quality exceeded my expectations. I loved that the furniture was made in Mexico using hardwood and I could choose my stains that matched each piece perfectly. The pedestal drawer base gave additional storage and, again, exceeded my expectations. Budget was a consideration for me and for the first time in my life I feel I got more than I paid for in their products.
Ken and Adri were truly delightful to work with and their business ethic is unsurpassed. I work in the legal field and too often have heard horror stories of long distance buying experiences, as well as my own disappointments in sales and service in this industry. I never respond to customer service surveys, but this company deserves the accolades.
I have recommended them to various real estate agents for client referrals because I hope everyone can enjoy the great products and excellent service during the stress of purchasing property and having to conduct the decorating and furniture design from afar.

Rustic furniture will have variations in color, appearance, texture, size and finish. Rustic wood does not absorb colored stains and finishes in a uniform manner. Rustic wood is a porous and natural element that responds with its own unique character. This is part of its appeal and charm. It is alive and it responds to its environment. It will change over time. It is a good thing, part of the beauty of wood furniture. Because of these natural variations, we do not accept returns on products with a colored stain or designer custom finish. Orders are non-refundable once manufacture has begun.
If you cannot be available to accept your furniture, we ask that you please assign someone to accept it for you. This person can be a property manager, real estate contact, relative or neighbor. Please provide this person with a copy of your order confirmation document so they can check your items.
You or your assignee will be asked to sign off indicating all is correct before our delivery truck departs. If a piece has minor damage, send us photos immediately and we will do everything reasonable to remedy the issue. If damage is discovered after the driver has left, please save all packaging materials and contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will do our best to file a claim with the transportation company, but if such a claim were to be denied, we cannot be responsible for the damage.
You are responsible to measure your entryways and access points from curb to in-home placement to confirm that your merchandise will fit into your home. Incorrect measurement does not constitute grounds for cancellation or refusal. Please share these measurements with us. This helps us arrange for a successful delivery and ensure your furniture fits into your home.

You can send us a photo of a furniture piece you have seen or one you wish you could have in your Mexico dream home. We are able to work with our Mexican artisans to get that piece custom made for you in the finish, style, color and size of your choice. We are also able to work with you to help you modify a design from our online store.
When browsing and purchasing our furniture, you are able to select from a variety of wood stains. The most basic are Light, Medium, Dark and Chocolate.
The Light Stain is a rustic Mexican basic stain finished with wax which is great for small spaces when you want to keep your Mexico decoration as simple and rustic as possible and maximize reflection of light. Think wheat in the fields.
Our Medium Stain brings Mexican rustic warm hues to your Mexico home environment. These Medium Stains are beautiful in bedrooms, kitchens and living rooms. They will make your rooms look and feel cozy and inviting. Medium Finishes are our most popular Mexico rustic furniture stains, especially for rental properties. They are durable and look great year after year. Think caramel or praline.
Our Dark Stain begins to introduce some notes of black to the Medium Stain. It is still warm and inviting but a bit more intense. Think dark honey.
Our Chocolate Stain lends itself well to a more polished contemporary Mexico condo or home décor. We have seen this stain become a favorite in the past year. It is a very dark, intense, opaque stain. You can choose to have the Chocolate Stain varnished for an additional charge, which makes it even shinier and more durable. Think espresso.
Besides the Light, Medium, Dark and Chocolate Mexican furniture stains, you can also choose to have your Gringo Furniture pieces made in a Custom Artistry Mexico Finish: Weathered, Distressed, Lacquered or Reclaimed Pine.
Many of our customers who are concerned about the environment choose the Reclaimed Pine Finish. The reclaimed pine process in Mexican furniture is a beautiful art in which the artisan incorporates reclaimed wood into the design of the furniture. To ensure durability, the entire piece cannot be made with reclaimed pine, but accent pieces of reclaimed wood are used. The pieces have a unique character and are beautiful to look at and to live with. They are conversation pieces and they help conserve forest environments by reusing and recycling.
