Gringo Furniture provides this Site and online store as a service to its customers. Please review the following basic rules that govern your use of our Site. Please note that your use of our Site constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Site. Gringo Furniture may revise this agreement at any time, at its sole discretion, by posting an amended Agreement on the Site. Any changes that we make to this Agreement will be effective immediately upon posting. Please check this page periodically for changes to the Agreement; you will be able to determine if this Agreement has been changed since your previous visit by viewing the Last Updated information that appears at the top of this Agreement. Pricing
All prices listed on the online store area of www.gringofurniture.com are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated. Gringo Furniture accepts VISA & MasterCard and all charges will be in U.S. dollars. Prices include applicable Mexican Taxes but not shipping costs. Shipping costs are calculated by region and weight. Our prices are subject to change without notice.
Gringo Furniture customer service policy
Gringo Furniture strives to achieve the highest level of service in our industry. Our goal is to provide our customers with the best possible customer experience. We aim to provide nothing but the best in quality and service.
Every piece of Rustic Furniture is handmade and unique to give a one of a kind look. Imperfections may exist in appearance, texture, size and/or finish. Plus, the color shade of each piece may have slight variation, because they are made with natural products applied by artisans. Normal cracking of your kiln-dried furniture adds to the handcrafted beauty and uniqueness of the piece, so it may not be considered a reason for return.
Keep in mind that rustic furniture will include some imperfections such as variations in color and finish, slight warping and cracking. Climatic changes can also affect rustic pine furniture over time, and this will not be considered as a reason for return. It is not advisable to put this furntiure in a dry climate.
Acceptance of Furniture
If you can not be available to accept your furniture please assign someone to accept it for you. Please provide this person with the invoice to check your order. Once you complete the shopping cart you will be sent an invoice with photos of both fabric, wood selections and furniture selections. Please keep this to check your order when it arrives.
You or the person you have assigned will be asked to sign off that all is correct before the truck leaves. If something is incorrect you have the option of keeping it with a 20% discount or sending it back and we will replace it correctly ASAP. It must remain on the truck to have it replaced, you can not accept it and also request it to be replaced.
Once the truck leaves, if you have something that is incorrect we can only offer a 20% discount and we can not replace.
Non-Custom Made Furniture With Damages
Customers are asked to measure their entry ways and access points from curb to in-home placement prior to placing order to avoid delivery problems later.
Furniture that arrives damaged due to manufacturing will be replaced. Please send photos of damage to info@gringofurniture.com. Gringo Furniture will make every effort to do this in a prompt manner. The customer will not be responsible for any shipping charges if a piece is damaged and needs to be replaced. Should you decide to cancel and order due to damage, and not receive a replacement piece, a 25% cancellation fee from the cost of the furniture would apply, and you would be responsible for shipping fees incurred by Gringo Furniture, and return freight charges. Any discounts received at time of purchase will be deducted from the credit issued.
Damages From Shipping
If damage occurs during delivery and is severe, please refuse delivery. Please take photos. The merchandise will be returned back to the warehouse, and we will process a replacement order for you expeditiously. Should you decide to cancel and order due to damage, and not receive a replacement piece, a 25% cancellation fee from the cost of the furniture would apply, and you would be responsible for shipping fees incurred by Gringo Furniture, and return freight charges. Any discounts received at time of purchase will be deducted from the credit issued.
When Buying a Mattress
If any damage occurs while shipping the mattress you must note it at time of delivery. This can not be noted after the drivers have left, Gringo Furniture will not be responsible for damaged found after delivery is made. If you choose to keep the mattress we will discount according to the amount of damage. You will need to take photos of damaged. If you do not want to accept the mattress please refuse delivery of it and leave it on the truck. Please also take photos of the damage before putting back on the truck.
If damage is discovered after the driver has left, please save all packaging materials and contact us immediately at info@gringofurniture.com (within 24 hours of delivery). We will try our best to file a claim with the transportation company and have them accept the damage, but if denied, we will not be responsible for the damage. In the case of noted damage, Gringo Furniture will file all necessary claims with carriers, and send replacements to you. When dealing with damages, we request the customer to provide images documenting the damage.
Custom Furniture and Accessory Returns
Coloured Stains: The nature of rustic wood will not allow the coloured stains to be uniform. Wood is porous and is a creation from nature, therefore when we apply the coloured stain it will have it's own characteristics. We highly recommend you order a sample to your home before ordering the coloured stains. We do not accept returns on any products with a coloured stain. If the piece is damaged we will replace in the same stain as ordered.
Merchandise which is custom made (including finishes, varnishes, fabrics and textiles) upon order is non-returnable and non-refundable. Custom furniture requires a 100% deposit, non-refundable after 24 hours.
Gringo Furniture reserves the right to modify its exchange policies at any time.
